I realized a childhood dream of becoming a teacher where I was able to inspire and be inspired by students and pass on my love of learning and writing. I hold a BA and MA as well as a certificate in Educational Therapy, and have attended numerous writing classes and seminars.
Watching my mother’s struggle with dementia, I wrote a blog about her experience which I have published as a book My Mother Is Losing Her Memory and I Am Losing My Mind.  I am still very much concerned about dementia and Alzheimer’s and try to keep up with the latest research and share what I have learned with others. I also have my writings in anthologies and published two books of my poetry. I live with my husband in Palm Desert, California.
